A. Status of Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in our services, technical or legal requirements, or business needs. If you disagree with any updates, you must notify us immediately and stop using our services.
By booking auto mechanical services via phone or email, you agree to the latest version of these Terms, which govern the contract between you and MECHANIC ON DEMAND for service booking and payment processing. Our priority is to protect customers and ensure a smooth, reliable service experience.
MECHANIC ON DEMAND is a trading name of our company. These Terms form a legally binding agreement governing your use of MECHANIC ON DEMAND services. By using our services, you accept these Terms along with our Booking Policies.
Important Notices:
- Our liability to you is limited as described in Sections C and D of these Terms.
- We are not responsible for the performance of auto services, as they are provided by independent mobile mechanics (see Section D).
B. Definitions
- Auto Services: Repair, maintenance, diagnostics, and inspection services provided by mobile mechanics booked through MECHANIC ON DEMAND.
- Booking Policies: Rules covering appointment confirmation fees, cancellations, and any additional costs. Please review before booking.
- Mobile Mechanic: An independent professional offering auto services promoted through the MECHANIC ON DEMAND platform.
C. Our Role
MECHANIC ON DEMAND acts solely as a booking intermediary, connecting customers with independent mobile mechanics. These mechanics operate under their own business names and schedules. Any agreements regarding service scope, pricing, warranties, or disputes (including charges, parts, or quality of work) are strictly between the customer and the mobile mechanic. MECHANIC ON DEMAND does not resolve these matters or issue refunds, but can provide the mechanic’s contact information.
We maintain an up-to-date booking platform to make the process seamless. Once you pay the appointment confirmation fee, the auto service is purchased directly from the mobile mechanic, not from MECHANIC ON DEMAND.
D. Service Details and Limitations
Our platform provides information about a variety of auto repair, diagnostic, and inspection services offered by independent mechanics. While we list service details, pricing, and appointment options, we are not responsible for the mechanics’ performance. Mobile mechanics are independent contractors and fully accountable for the quality of their work.
E. Mechanic Availability
We aim to connect you with local mobile mechanics. If none are available at your requested time, we may refer mechanics from other areas to accommodate your booking.
F. Booking Policies
- Non-Refundable Fees: Appointment confirmation fees are non-refundable once paid.
- Service Non-Delivery: If we cannot connect you with a mechanic or your appointment is missed, a full refund will be issued upon request.
- Sharing Contact Information: Your contact details may be shared with the assigned mobile mechanic to facilitate service delivery.
- Cancellations: In cases beyond our control, such as mechanic unavailability, appointments may be cancelled, and a full refund will be provided.
G. Payments for Auto Services
All auto services are purchased directly from the mobile mechanic. Pricing depends on factors such as location, vehicle model, service urgency, and parts availability. Customers must confirm the agreed hourly rate and parts cost with the mechanic before any work begins.
